From a Love of New York to a Name Guests Trust.
YVP began in 1992 with a simple belief: New York’s most extraordinary moments shouldn’t sit behind a velvet rope. What started as curated access for private groups has grown into experiences open to everyone who wants to feel like an insider.
Over three decades, YVP has welcomed more than 60,000 guests into theater, fine art, culinary, fashion, opera, and the city’s most celebrated annual traditions.
Our Heritage

It begins at Lincoln Center
Founder Bev Sambrotto creates cultural programs for the performing arts at Lincoln Center, including the original “Meet the Artist” series connecting guests with the talent behind the stage.
New York Offstage is born
Bev launches New York Offstage, pioneering behind-the-scenes Broadway and cultural access: cast parties, backstage tours, master classes, and artist encounters that few others offered at the time.
The Offstage Group expands
The company grows into The Offstage Group, broadening beyond New York and reaching thousands of students and travelers through programs in music, dance, acting, and opera.
Your VIP Pass takes shape
The experience evolves toward the consumer, becoming YVP, bringing the same insider access once reserved for private groups to everyone who wants to feel like a New Yorker.

For nearly four decades, Bev Sambrotto has been opening doors to New York’s cultural world, first at Lincoln Center, then as the founder of New York Offstage in 1992, and today as the founder and CEO of Your VIP Pass.
